Big paintings in interior

Big paintings, personally for me, are veeery beautiful but I have to say that they need a proper place and the painting itself has to be right.
When I look at examples I've chosen, it seems to me that I could hang any painting of these at my house, but when I think more, I doubt I would like to have a painting with a washing machine in my bathroom :) There are no limits for your fantasy and originality but I'd like to pay your attention to the fact that big painting practically needs no frame, well unless it would be narrow and not very attractive to the eye.
Well, that's a very interesting solution, I have nothing to add!
A veeery attractive painting - calm, rainy but at the same time extremely active with it's colors.
It's one of the rare examples, when a wide frame fits perfectly. Everything depends on the interior style but specifically here the frame looks great.
This photo immediately took my attention! Mystic mood and my favourit musical instrument stands here...
