In this small but charming apartment a young couple of architects live. This couple designed home for themselves. As they themselves say, the interior was planned as simply as possible leaving its old soul – the authentic brick walsl and the old Austrian parquet.
The space itself is completely complicated with untraditional corners, therefore, all pieces of furniture have been designed particularly for this flat so that each corner was purposefully used. New furniture doesn’t overwhelm the old spirits of the flat and finally we see the old-new interior version. And even pipes in the ceiling don’t disturb. For me personally such interiors are extremely cosy!
There’re all the necessary zones in the apartment: the kitchen, the guest room, a bedroom in a mezzanine and additionally designed shower with the glass bricks wall. From the outside it let not to extremely distinguish from the present architecture of the building, while the glass bricks bring not so little daylight inside. Architects also glazed entrance which replaces the entry room.
Plywood has been used as the main material. The kitchen has been designed so that it was possible to make the kitchen island larger or smaller. Stairs serve and as an additional place for items. As many as possible mirrors are also used (which is self explanatory). The couple designed the space in accordance with their lifestyle, hobbies and flat characteristics, therefore, the interior looks contemporary, not overloaded and unique. That’s the perfect job!

O iš kur gauti tokių razečių ir tokių vamzdukų elektros instaliacijai, man visada įdomu buvo iš tokių LT gauti ar reikia ieškoti EU mastu, aš randu tik Anglijoje, bet ten kištukai netinka.
