Leather furniture and maintenance

Leather furniture at least for me doesn’t really look “delicious” because you need to extremely subtly combine everything and not overdo with a leather furniture. Only one sofa or a chair is enough and your interior gets natural and cozy.

Fritz Hansen – a Danish furniture design company, which cooperated with such designers as Arne Jacobsen or Hans. J. Wegner. It's one of the most powerful furniture suppliers which were established in 1872. I'm uploading a video about a leather care.

An entire leather comes from Europe and is carefully picked out. An aniline leather of the highest quality is used for Fritz Hansen furniture. That is a natural leather where even scars, scratches and insect stings are visible.

Advices:

Avoid to put furniture in front of a very strong direct fire and maintain a normal moisture in the room; you should also avoid direct sunbeams.

Cleaning of any type of leather with an exception of a chamois leather:

• You should often clean a leather with a dry, clean cloth;
• You should regularly clean it with a vacuum cleaner which has a soft tip;
• You should use a distilled or a boiled water in respect: a liter of water with 3 spoons of natural soap powder;
• You should beat up water with soap until spume appears;
• You should spread JUST a spume layer on a leather using circle movements;
• You should avoid spume to get deep into a leather – you should always take a spume excess out of a sofa with a clean and dry cloth.
