A discreet recessed adapter designed to set a standard smoke detector partially into a plasterboard ceiling while keeping its smoke-sensing section exposed below the finished surface. The result is a cleaner, more refined ceiling appearance without concealing the part of the detector that must remain open to smoke.

The adapter is 3D-printed from durable ASA plastic with excellent resistance to moisture, heat and UV exposure. Versions are available for single- and double-layer plasterboard ceilings.

Modern ceilings can conceal lights and diffusers, yet smoke detectors often stand out and spoil an otherwise clean, refined look.

The recessed adapter sets a standard smoke detector partially into the ceiling while keeping its smoke-sensing section exposed below the finished surface. This maintains access to smoke and avoids fully concealing the detector.

The adapter is 3D-printed from durable ASA plastic with excellent resistance to moisture, heat and UV exposure. It is available for single- or double-layer plasterboard ceilings.

  • Wired Sentek SD119-2 and SD119-4 smoke detectors, and HD912-2 heat detector
  • Wired Apollo Orbis smoke and heat detectors
  • Wired Apollo Series 65 smoke detector. This detector requires a special adapter plate, which is included.
  • Standalone Arton SPD-3.4 smoke detector
  • Addressable WizMart NB 358D S LED smoke detector and WizMart NB 358D H LED heat detector.
  • Wired Heiman HM-613PC-2 smoke detector. This detector requires a special adapter plate, which is included.
