House-shaped interior elements are becoming more and more popular for a moment and I can hardly understand why, but I'll admit that it looks indeed modern and doesn't require somewhat fancifulness. A traditional house form appears not only in furniture volumes, but also in door openings!
It's worth mentioning that such solutions are more used in public interiors - in the shops, cafes where an interior is asking for an interesting solution and a light construction. In general, a frame house form construction (we could say and a greenhouse) is a today's 'nail' as well as a standard sloped roof form.
A plus is that it's a temporary element which can easily be replaced, taken off and this way you'll have a completely new space of a different mood. Frame constructions are used to define a space, to create a light not overloaded interior, to exhibit various things. A bed in a "house" looks extremely cosy. The same bed with or withou house-shaped element can look really differently. You can create intimacy and semi-closed space.
